Kovalam beach
This internationally renowned beach resort of  Kerela  has been a favorite haunt of tourists since the 1930s.  Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches.  The southernmost , known as the Lighthouse beach, is the most popular, Kovalam offers accommodation options to suit all the budgets

Shanghumugham Beach
This is a favorite haunt of sunset viewers.  The beach is adjacent to the Trivandrum airport and Veli Tourist Village
 
Varkala Beach
Vakala is a seaside resort and spa, as well as an important Hindu centre of pilgrimage.  High cliffs with rich mineral springs rise majestically from the coastline.  The 2000 year old Sree Janardhana Swamy Temple and the Nature Care Centre are the two main attractions there
 
Chowra Beach-(Trivandrum / Thiruvananthapuram)
The soft white sand is what that draws visitors to this beach and it is ideal for beach volleyball.  The long stretch of beach is dotted by many cattamarams; a country fishing boat, which is three logs tied together in the shape of a boat
 
Alappuzha Beach
This is one of the most popular picnic spots in alappuzha.  The pier, which extends into the sea here, is about 140 years old
 
Cherai Beach
This lovely beach bordering Vypeen island is ideal for swimming.  Dolphins are occassionally seen here
 
Fort Kochi Beach
The town was shaped by the Portuguese, the Dutch and later the British
 
Kappad
This is the historic beach where Vasco da Gama landed on the 27th of May, 1498 with 170 men in three vessels.  The rock studded beach is locally known as Kappakadavu.  An interesting feature of the landscape is the sprawing rock that protrudes into the sea.  The temple on the rock is believed to be 800 years old
 
Kozhikode Beach
Kozhikode Beach is a favourite haunt of sunset viewers. Its natural beauty and old world charm makes it a dreamy place to visit. The beach has an old lighthouse and two crumbling piers running into the sea, each more than a hundred years old. Children can be entertained at the Lions Park and the Marine Water Aquarium
 
Beypore Beach
Ancient Beypore was much sought after by merchants from Western Asia, for its ship building industry. The boat building yard here is famous for the construction of the Uru, the traditional Arabian trading vessel
 
Payolli Beach -Calicut
This is yet another beautiful stretch of golden sands with shallow waters that border Velliyamkallu
 
Muzhappilangad Beach -Kannur, Thalassery
Muzhappilangad Beach is a drive-in beach in the state of Kerala in southwestern India. It is located parallel to National Highway 17 between Kannur and Thalassery.There is an unpaved road winding through coconut groves leading to the beach. The beach is about 5 km long and curves in a wide area providing a good view of Kannur on the north
 
Local laws allow beachgoers to drive for a full 4 km directly on the sands of the beach. The beach is bordered by black rocks, which also protect it.Approximately 100-200 m south of the beach there is a private island called Dharmadam Island (Green Island). It is possible to walk to the island during low tide
 
Payyambalam Beach - Kannur
It’s the beach of Kannur town. The well laid out garden and the massive landscaped sculpture of mother & child erected by noted sculptor Kanayi Kunhiraman makes it extremely captivating
 
Meenkunnu Beach near Azhicode- Kannur
Situated at Azhikode its hardly few kilometres from the town. The virgin beach is a tourist’s paradise with golden sand & surf
 
Naattika Beach, Thrissur
aattika Beach offers many charms to visitors who eagerly embrace its golden sands and verdant coconut groves
 
Vallikunnu Beach -Malappuram
A beach resort set in the middle of a coconut grove is the main attraction here. The Kadalundi Bird sanctuary is just a short distance away
 
Padinharekara Beach - Malappuram
At the end of the Tipu Sultan Road near Ponnani, the beach offers a breathtaking view of the confluence of the Bharathapuzha, the Tirur puzha and the Arabian sea.
 
Kizhunna Ezhara Beach -Mappila Bay -Malappuram
This beautiful stretch of sand is one of the most secluded beaches in kerala.This is situated near the St. Angelo’s Fort. A fishing harbour built with Indo Norvegian project assistance. If the weather is favourable a ride in the sea will be a memorable experience. The remnants of the temple & fort are still seen in Mopila bay
 
Bekal Beach
The old-fashioned little town of Kasargode, 153 km North of Kozhikode, near the Karnataka border, is principally a fishing village. Flanked on both sides by long, ravishingly beautiful palm fringed beaches, the Bekal Fort stands proud on a promontory. This is one of the largest forts in Kerala and has been under the control of various powers including Vijayanagar, Tipu Sultan and the British. The fort’s commanding position, with views across the bays to the North and the South are breath-takiing
